C. Delano Gray

Mr. Gray has extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting for offshore and domestically owned financial institutions. He is a lecturer for the Institute of Internal Auditors and has conducted lectures in Trinidad, Africa and throughout the United States. He is a member of the Association of Fraud Examiners, the Association of Certified Bank Auditors, the Association of Financial Service Auditors, Information Systems Audit and Control Association and Association of Bankers (London and Toronto). He is also a member of the FIU University Credit Union Board of Directors and was Chairman (2007-2010) and Chairman (2004-2007) of the Finance Committee. He currently serves as a member on the College of Business Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and School of Accounting Advisory Committee. Mr. Gray was a member of FIU’s Institutional Review Board and the Senate Online Technology Committee.  He is currently the Chair of the Faculty Senate and serves on the Senate Budget Committee.
Mr. Gray was the faculty advisor for FIU’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, Program Manager for the EMST and MACC Graduate Programs, a member of FIU’s Microsoft/Great Plains Education Alliance, and a member of the Miami Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors Academic Relations Committee. He is also a presenter in auditing at the IIA and FICPA Miami Chapters, and a presenter in fraud examination and auditing for the School of Accounting CAAT Center.
He was awarded the Most Supportive Professor Award by the American Accounting Association and Beta Alpha Psi in 2001 and 2003, the Outstanding Professor Award for Fall 2005, Spring 2006, and Spring 2007, the Most Helpful Professor Award by the MACC class of 2006. Mr. Gray received a Certification of Appreciation from the IIA Miami Chapter in the Fall of 2004.
